A consular building with a six century long history, with salons, nine apartments, outbuildings and a 600 m² garden in the heart of Avignon. At the time, it was inhabited by Peysonnier, the papal money-changer, before being sold to a lord from Turin, Gabriel de Fogasse, who came to settle in the city as first consul. Over the centuries, it took on the various styles that it still bears today. These styles are so different and so intertwined, ranging from Renaissance to Classicism, that putting them together was rather disconcerting for some.
