Houses are like people, some have more enviable jobs than others. Yet, even in such as desirable sector as this, there are still differences (in size) when it comes to exceptional properties. An address on the banks of the Seine is usually the highest you can go. Unless, of course, it has a few famous occupants, which is the case of this house which was owned for many years by the charismatic couple formed by Jean-Michel Jarre and Charlotte Rampling. Their presence converted the one thousand square metres of living space in this lovely bourgeois mansion, separated from the Seine by a simple footpath, into a reception cum family home. The four floors, connected by a lift, have very distinct functions. The first floor, given over to the parents and the master and mistress of the house, has a suite with a double dressing room and veranda, plus a study and gym room. The ground floor, which opens onto the large enclosed park, consists of a large entrance, a triple reception area and a kitchen. The bedroom and self-contained flat in the basement can be reserved for staff, as well as the 120 sq.m. outhouse which was once a recording studio.
