At the last Artcurial auction in April, the Jaime Tresserra's "Oval" bar really pushed up the bidding. It's true: every single item created by this brilliant Catalan designer is acclaimed by connoisseurs or students of the prestigious Ecole Boulle. He designed the Arts Hotel in Barcelona, a museum in Dallas, Texas, and many private appartments worldwide. Since 1987, he has launched his own company, Tesserra Collection S. L., opened a showroom in Barcelona and a shop in Paris in 2005. He only works with quality materials and supports the traditional craft industry. He is currently introducing his new furniture collection and will soon unveil his luxurious walnut-made "Formulas" cabinet with lasercarved mathematical formulas on it, produced in limited quantities (price : 70,000 euros). Asked about his priorities, Jaime Tresserra says that he never does what he does not want to.
